“Showbiz is not forever,” is the common reminder given to celebrities, and Vice Ganda realizes it as early as now.
While the TV host-comedian enjoys his current status in showbiz, he does not deny that he's also afraid of losing his luster in showbiz.
He also admits that his strong prayer and wish right now is, “Huwag muna akong malaos talaga kasi masaya ako sa estado ko ngayon.”
With his current projects, one might say that Vice has no reason to be worried about his showbiz career.
Apart from his regular TV shows, It’s Showtime and Gandang Gabi Vice, Vice is also currently busy with his third major concert called I-Vice Ganda Mo ‘Ko sa Araneta, happening on May 17.
He has also just released his self-titled second studio album under Star Records, which seems to be doing well in terms of sales.
However, there is still a part of Vice that keeps reminding him that he shouldn’t feel complacent with what he has now.
While he often tells people that he can survive if he ever goes back to his previous status before showbiz, he admits that he also feels scared at the same time.
“Ang totoo, natatakot naman ako talaga,” Vice confessed in an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and members of the press during the media conference for his upcoming concert in Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
However, he was quick to say, “Pinaghahandaan ko ‘yan.
